24 Year Old Woman Arrested For Smoking In Flight
On an Indigo aircraft from Kolkata, a 24-year-old lady was allegedly caught smoking in the restroom. She was detained upon landing in Bengaluru last week. Later, she was released on bail. K Shankar, an airport security official, filed a police report saying, Priyanka C, who was travelling from Kolkata in an Indigo 6E-716 flight, smoked in the middle of the flight.

Navy Helicopter Have Emergency Landing Near Arabian Sea, Crew Member Rescued
A navy helicopter ditched off the Mumbai coast due to a technical snag, on March 8. The Indian Navy helicopter ditched close to the coast near the Arabian Sea. Furthermore, the flight was on a routine sortie; three crew members were rescued by naval patrol craft after immediate search and rescue. A probe to investigate the incident has been ordered. Rajasthan CM Announces Free Bus Service For Woman
Ashok Gehlot, the CM of Rajasthan, announced a special offer for female citizens of Rajasthan. Marking the International Women's Day, the Congress-led Government announced free bus travel for a day to all women. The service started on March 7, and will continue till March 8. Another Flight Pee Incident Reported, Accused Arrested At IGI Airport
Another incident of pee-gate on flight reported on March 4. As per sources, an American student in a New York-Delhi Air India flight, allegedly urinated on a co-passenger, under the influence of alcohol. Getting into details, the student apologized, following which victim did not complain. However, a flight crew informed to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) at Indira Gandhi International Airport, following which the accused was arrested.

Why Govt Is Not Banning Alcohol But Taxi Bikes? Ask Bike Drivers
Thousands of ola, rapido and uber bike drivers questioned the recent ban on taxi bikes citing violation of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. A rapid driver said, "How govt can ban it if it is feeding more than 20k families?" He further said, "If they are really concerned about the laws and morality, why don't they impose a ban on the sale of alcohol as it can kill the consumer."

TSRTC Announces Ladies Special Buses, Marks International Women's Day
On the occasion of Women's Day, the Telangana Government-led TS Road Transport Corporation (RTC) announced a special ladies' bus. On March 4, the TSRTC introduced the 'Ladies Special' daily bus, for girl students and women passengers from various places to the city outskirts. The bus services will be from Uppal to Bogaram via Ghatkesar, Bogaram to Secunderabad via Ghatkesar, LB Nagar to Ibrahimpatnam and Ibrahimpatnam to LB Nagar.

DCGA Rejects Plea Of Air India Pilot In Urination Incident
The Director General Civil Aviation (DCGA) rejected the appeal of the pilot in the Air India Urination Issue. On March 1, the DCGA rejected the plea of the pilot to revoke the license suspension orders. The DCGA feels that the incident should have been reported in any case, therefore, pilot is responsible. Notably, earlier, a man urinated on a 70-year-old senior citizen in a New York-Delhi Air India flight.

This Airline Provided Single Banana As Meal For Vegan
In a bizarre incident, an airline served one banana as a meal for a passenger, said to be a vegan. Kris Chari, who was travelling with Jakarta Airlines, from Indonesia-Tokyo, in seven-hour flight, tweeted, "It's a bit insulting to be served a single banana while others are given a far more substantial and flavorful menu." Mumbai Local Derails While Entering Kharkopar Station, Zero Casualties Reported
In Mumbai, three coaches of the Belapur to Kharkopar local train derailed while entering Kharkopar station. The incident occurred around 8:46 am on February 28, confirmed Railway Police.
