Cybercrime Increases By 11% With Over 50,000 Cases: NCRB
National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) reported 11% rise in cybercrime, in 2020. On February 10, the Union Home Ministry panel said, in 2020, a total of 50,035 cases of cybercrime were registered, compared to 44,735 cases in 2019. The panel noted that states like Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan does not have a single cybercrime cell, whereas AP, Karnataka and UP has one cell, advising the MHA to ensure setup.

Google Chrome Rolls Out New Update To Enhance Browsing Experience
Google Chrome has unfolded a new version of the application to address the issues users' faced while browsing and enhance the experience. The new update will reduce the CPU's usage by five times which, in turn, will save battery-life of the device up to 85 minutes. The update will allow the device to start and load the pages faster than before. It will also have a page-marker feature.

Global Hunger Index 2020: India Ranks 94 Out Of 107, Placed Under 'Serious' Category
India ranked 94th among 107 countries in the Global Hunger Index 2020, showing a slight improvement from its 2019 rank of 102 from 117 countries. While the world hunger was termed as ‘moderate’, the GHI categorised India’s score (27.2 out of 50) as ‘serious'. However, the child stunting rate in South Asia is still high, for which GHI held deprivation of food, education and poverty as major factors.

Hyundai India Registers Over 1.5 Lakh Bookings For Creta 2020
Hyundai Motor's SUV Creta 2020, which was launched in India in March this year, has registered bookings for over 1,15,000 units. Reportedly, Creta has contributed over 26% market share to Hyundai's SUV segment from Jan-Sept 2020. Besides, the company informed that the customers have preferred Creta's diesel variant over petrol version. According to the Korean automaker, Creta is also the most checked out car on its digital sales platform.

Hyundai Creta 2020 Prices Change; Starting Price Stands At Rs 9.82 lakh
Hyundai has revised the prices of variants of Hyundai Creta 2020. The Creta now costs Rs 9.82 lakh for the base model and the top variant SX (O) is priced at Rs 17.32 lakh. Hyundai has also introduced an additional base E-variant under petrol trim, which was earlier available for diesel engine only. The highest price hike is of petrol EX trim which changed from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 10.61 lakh.

Hawaii has emerged as the 'Happiest State in America' in 2020. A financial website, WalletHub, has conducted the study on 32 parameters, and covered all the 50 states. A 100-point scale divided into 3 parts - emotional and physical well-being (50), Work environment (25 points) and community as well as environment (25) - was used by the website to measure the happiness scale among the states in America.
