India To Get TB Vaccine By 2024, Says ICMR

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National AIDS Research Institute (NARI) are working together for a vaccine for the vaccine of Tuberculosis (TB).  As per ANI, the trials for the vaccine are under phase-3, in 18 subsites of India.  A total of 1,593 participants were selected randomly, with a follow-up of 38 months. If successful, India will get two effective vaccines, VPM002 and Immuvac (TB) by 2024.
