AAP Candidate Bhagwant Mann To Contest From Dhuri Constituency: Punjab Polls

Bhagwant Mann, the 'CM Candidate' of the Aam Aadmi Party, will contest the Punjab Assembly election from Dhuri constituency.  Addressing the media, AAP senior leader Raghav Chadha announced the same.  Reportedly, Bhagwant Mann is a two time Lok Sabha member and CM candidate as per public's choice. Notably, the Dhuri Assembly constituency in Sangrur district is currently represented by Congress MLA Dalvir Singh Goldy.

AAP President Kejriwal To Announce CM Candidate Ahead Of Goa Assembly Polls

AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal is going to announce CM candidate for Goa Assembly elections 2022. On January 19, the Delhi CM will visit Panaji and announce the CM Face, for the single phased Goa Assembly elections, scheduled on February 14. Notably, political parties will contest for 70 assembly seats in Goa. With the intensified door-to-door campaign, the AAP is said to be a strong contender for the Assembly elections.

Businessman & AAP leader Mahesh Savani Quits Party: Gujarat

A prominent industrialist from Surat and Patidar leader, Mahesh Savani, resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party, on January 17. He announced his resignation from the party citing ''personal reasons''. As per reports, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia himself had come to Surat to invite him in the political party. Savani refused to join any other political party, as he will reportedly work for social and noble causes.

Air Quality Continues To Remain In Severe Category: Delhi

Delhi's air quality was recorded to remain in the "severe category" with Air Quality Index (AQI) registering at 436. Reportedly, the city's air quality deteriorated to hazardous after the night of Diwali. AQI in certain regions was reported to cross 600 in the city, according to the reports.
