Aarey Milk Colony

The residents of three tribal hamlets at Aarey Milk Colony in Goregaon started the protest against Maharashtra Government after it tried to relocate them from their land allocated to the Force One Training Centre. The government has assured them alternative accommodations but the tribals are against shifting from the Aarey. However, the tribals' leader will take further decisions after meeting forest department officials on September 27.
