MP CM Chouhan Announces Lata Mangeshkar Academy In Indore

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on February 7, announced to set up Lata Mangeshkar Academy in Indore. The announcement was made during a routing plantation at Smart Park in Bhopal. "A museum shall also be constructed, a statue installed and a birth anniversary award instituted". Notably, Madhya Pradesh is the birth state of Lata Mangeshkar, who died on February 6, and was given state honours for final rites.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences board will have maximum females for the first time in the organization's 94-year existence, ranging from 26 to 31 members. Tamil Film 'Soorarai Pottru' Becomes Only Indian Movie In Oscar Race

Becoming a matter of pride for the Indian Cinema, Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru' is in the race of 93rd Oscars out of 366 eligible films in the 'Best Picture' category.
