Mukesh Ambani, the wealthiest industrialist in the country received a death threat again on email, Mumbai police confirmed on Saturday. After the social media outage, the Manipur Police on July 20, arrested one of the main accused who was seen in a May 4 video of two tribal women being paraded naked and molested by a mob at a village in Senapati district. The action against the gruesome incident was taken two months after the incident. They said several police teams were formed immediately and nabbed the accused.

The Delhi Police have arrested two more people in a recent shocking murder case of Nikhil Chauhan (19,) who was stabbed to death outside the Aryabhatta College. With the arrest on June 22, the total number of accused is now 5, including the prime accused identified as Yash.  An SOL student and a juvenile have been apprehended in connection with the murder. An investigation into the brutal murder is underway.

In a Lakhimpur Kheri village, Uttar Pradesh, the bodies of two minor girls, belonging to the scheduled caste community, was found hanging on a tree. The villagers and family protested demanding justice for the girls, who were allegedly raped and murdered by three men. The police registered a case and took four accused into custody and launched an investigation. Further details are awaited and will be revealed after the postmortem.
