In Karnataka 8,449 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, informed the health department on January 7. The cumulative case tally with new cases in the state mounted to 30,31,052, of which 30,113 are active cases. So far, 38,362 people have died, and 29,62,548 recovered. Reportedly, the positivity rate stands at 4.15%.
The latest data of the Union Health Ministry on December 25 said that India reported 7,189 new COVID-19 cases and 387 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries in the country reached 3,42,23,263 with 7,286 new recoveries. However, India's total tally of active cases and deaths stands at 77,032, and 4,79,520, respectively. Besides, the total number of Omicron cases reached 415, reported ANI.
Nagaland reported four new cases of Covid-19, on December 18, taking the total number of cases to 32,169. Reportedly, 701 total fatalities have been recorded in the state, and no new deaths were recorded for the second consecutive day. Also, Nagaland's active caseload stands at 84, at present. On December 18, Nagaland recorded three new recoveries. According to the State Immunization Officer, 7,56,904 people have been vaccinated so far.

The Union Health Ministry on December 17 said that India registered 7,447 new COVID-19 cases, 7,886 recoveries, and 391 deaths in the last 24 hours. India's total tally of active cases stands at 86,415 cases, recoveries at 3,41,62,765, and deaths at 4,76,869. However, the total number of vaccine administration crossed 135.99 crore doses so far.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on November 28 said India recorded 8,774 new cases of COVID-19 and 9,481 and 621 deaths in the last 24 hours. The active caseload stands at 1,05,691 in the country, which is said to be the lowest in 543 days. The total number of deaths in India has reached 4,68,554. Besides, India has so far administered over 121.94 crore vaccines.
