Centernary Celebration Of PAC To Be Held Dec 4-5: Adhir Rajan Chowdhury

Chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and Congress Lok Sabha MP Adhir Rajan Choudhury said on December 3 that the centenary celebration of PAC is scheduled on December 4-5. The celebration is scheduled to be held between December 4 to 5. BJP Snatching Rights Of Opposition, Public: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary accused the BJP government of snatching the opposition and general people's rights on December 3. His remark came during the protest of opposition party MPs who're protesting the revocation of the suspended 12 Rajya Sabha members near Mahatma Gandhi statue inside Parliament premises. Sonia Gandhi Likely To Be The New Lok Sabha Party Leader

With the Parliament's monsoon session two weeks away, Congress President Sonia Gandhi will presumably replace Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury as the Lok Sabha's party leader. Chowdhury, a Member of Parliament from Berhampore, was the face of the campaign in WB and the state party unit's chief. Delhi Police Detains Priyanka Gandhi; Rahul Says 'No Democracy'

The Delhi Police have detained Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress leaders who were accompanying Rahul Gandhi to meet President Ram Nath Kovind. Reportedly, the police had allowed Rahul, Gulam Nabi Azad and Adhir Chowdhury to meet President with two crore signatures against the contentious farm laws. After the meeting the President, Rahul said, “There is no democracy in India, it is only in imagination, not in reality.”
