University Of Mumbai To Publish Merit List 2022 On June 29

The University of Mumbai is scheduled to publish the first merit list for undergraduate programs on its official websites of the affiliated colleges on June 29.  Furthermore, the authority announced that the University's First Merit List 2022 document verification and admission fee payment will be done between June 30 to July 6. In addition, the other lists and admission process will be held in July.

Bombay High Court Cancels CET For Class 11th Admissions

Maharashtra government’s Common Entrance Test (CET) for class 11 admission has been cancelled by the Bombay High Court on August 10. The decision regarding the admission of class 11 students will be based on class 10 and internal assessment. The high court has also passed an order to carry out the admission process within six weeks. Previously, the CET exam was scheduled to be held on August 21.

UGC Releases New Admission Guidelines For Academic Year 2021-2022

University Grant Commission (UGC) releases exam Guidelines and Academic Calendar for the 2021-22 session. The final year exam is expected to be completed by August 31. Students can apply to UGC only after the declaration of CBSC, ISC, and other class 12 results. Reportedly, the new academic session will tentatively begin from October 1. Besides, the admission process ought to be completed by September 30.

Central Govt Aims To Conduct CET For University Admissions 

Under the new National Education Policy, Ministry of Education has decided to conduct common entrance test such as JEE, and NEET for students to get admitted in various universities. However, the government is planning to conduct the test in July-August, and the test aims to provide admission in undergraduate for non-technical courses.
