The Polytechnic Colleges of Tamil Nadu are facing a drop in the number of admissions for the academic year 2020-2021. Education experts believe that this resulted due to a lack of preparation for online admissions which was forced due to COVID situations. The Central University, Jamia Milia Islamia on September 27, announced that the entrance exams for undergraduate, post graduate and diploma courses will commence from October 10. The university reported that due to the pandemic, only 4,000 candidates can be accommodated for the examination at a time. Admits cards for the exam will be released on the portal a week before the exam begins.
