Citizens Above 60 Years To Take Booster Dose From March 16

Citizens above 60-year-age are now eligible to take COVID-19 booster dose, to enhance immunity, from March 16.  Previously amid the third pandemic wave, the precautionary dose was allowed for frontline warriors and people with comorbidities. Brazil To Give Booster Shots Of COVID-19 Vaccine To All Adults

Brazil's Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga on November 16 said that they've decided to give a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine to everyone who is aged above 18 years. The booster dose will be given only after five months of the second dose of the vaccine. Earlier, only people above 60 years or having a weak immunity system were receiving the booster shot. Notably, Brazil already administered 12.4 million booster shots.

Even Parents Can't Object To Inter-Caste Adult Marriage: Allahabad HC

While allowing police protection to an inter-faith couple, the Allahabad High Court on September 16 said nobody, even parents, can't raise any objection to the marriage of two adults based on religion or else. The court's direction came after a 19-year-old Muslim woman and her 24-year-old Hindu partner from UP's Gorakhpur urged it to provide the protection. Reportedly, the couple's parents have become a threat to their life.

After HP, Goa Administers First Dose Of Vaccine To All Adults

Goa CM Pramod Sawant on September 9 announced that the state has administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to those who are 18 years old. Sharing the achievement on Twitter, CM Sawant said, ''We are targeting to complete the second dose of vaccination by October 31.'' However, Goa has become the second state after Himachal Pradesh to inoculate the first dose of the vaccine to adults.
