As a part of digitalisation drive, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on January 8 launched a portal to sell the costly items offered through Canteen Stores Department. With this, the items falling under the AFD-I (Against Firm Demand) category including laptops, mobile phones, refrigerators and air conditioners would be sold online.
