Former Afghanistan VP Amrullah Saleh Heads Govt In Exile
A number of former officials who left Afghanistan after the takeover by the Taliban announced the continuation of the Afghan government in exile, headed by the former Vice-President Amrullah Saleh. The Afghan embassy in Swiss released a statement, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is the only legitimate government of Afghanistan that is elected by the votes of people and no other government can replace a legitimate one.

World Leaders Decides Not To Recognize Taliban As Govt
Following the meeting of world leaders on August 10 and 12 in Qatar's Doha decided not to recognize the Taliban government if it came into power using weapons and military power. During the meeting, the US, China, Uzbekistan, UK, Pakistan, UN, India, Germany, and others warned the Taliban asking to resolve the issue through political settlements.
