'Removal Of Women Means Removal Of Humans', Says Women Activist In Kabul

Around two dozen women activists protested outside Afghanistan's Women's Ministry against Taliban militants in Kabul on September 19. The said ministry is now replaced by the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice. Since the Taliban return, female workers have been trying to return to work but are instructed to go home. "Today's, Afghan women are not the same as 26 years ago", said protestors.

Injustice & Violence Against Afghan Women On Rise By Taliban

Reportedly, Najla Ayoubi, a former judge from Afghanistan stated that while speaking to several Afghan women, she noticed, “bad behaviour and violence against women.” One of the instances is, a woman was set on fire for cooking badly for the Taliban.
