ISRO Lends Its Testing Facility To Pvt Players First Time In 50 Years

World's First 3D Printed Rocket Engine Test Fired By Agnikul Cosmos

Chennai-based startup Agnikul Cosmos has become the World's first company to successfully test-fire a fully 3D printed rocket engine - 'Agnilet'. CEO Srinath Ravichandran said the engine had zero assembled parts and comprised just a single piece of hardware. Reportedly, the engine could lift the rocket to 700 km with 100 Kg of payload. Besides, the 3D engine can be produced in under four days though it requires high precision.

Agnikul Signs Deal With ISRO For Accesing Facilities, Expertise
