Odisha, Nabard Signs Agreement To Boost Fish Production

The Odisha government and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) have signed an agreement for the development of fisheries infrastructure to boost fish production in the state. ''It would bring "revolutionary change" in the fisheries sector of the state by tapping the potential,'' stated an official. Solar vehicle maker Lightyear, on December 19, signed a contract with LeasePlan, a car service company. It will reserve 5,000 units for production in 2024-2025. Lightyear will undergo production of it's first solar vehicle named 'Lightyear One' in 2022, which will be the world's first range solar electrical vehicle. The new models is going to be available at an affordable prices (€30, 000) in European and US markets.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has published a statement on the purchase transaction and the agreement on June 15, amid charges of corruption in the Ayodhya land acquisition.
