A man found a dead lizard in the coke he ordered at McDonald's in Ahmedabad. Upon complaining to the manager, he "laughed and offered a refund" of Rs 300, instead of taking any action. Also, the customer stated that the staff threatened to call the cops, if they don't leave. Reportedly, the outlet has been sealed by the food and drugs department after a complaint was lodged.

On the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Dandi March, Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off 'Dandi Cycle Yatra' in Ahmedabad on March 12. The yatra is organized by Gujarat Vidyapeeth which is left from Dandi from Kocharab Ashram. Furthermore, Mahatma Gandhi organized the Dandi March from the Sabarmati Ashram to the village of Dandi. Notably, the non-violent movement was started on March 12, 1930, against Britishers.

The Ahmedabad HC on February 18, sentenced death sentence to 38 convicts and life imprisonment to 11 in 2008 blast case. Recently, the special court judge AR Patel concluded quantum of sentence arguments and reserved orde for February 18. A total of 49 people were convicted and 13 were acquitted in the 26 July  2008 bomb blast, which killed 56 people and left over 200 injured, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

In the video, a vendor lit up the golgapaa full of foodstuff, which she put into her mouth, creating a insane sight for viewers. It has been named as "fire panipuri'. Reportedly, the bizarre moment was shot in Ahmedabad. The video has so far received over 19,000 likes.
