Maths, Physics In Class 12 Not Necessary For Engineering Course: AICTE
The All India Council for Technical Education has notified that aspiring engineering students would not necessarily require Mathematics and Physics in class 12 to apply for B.E. and B.Tech programmes. AICTE Postpones Commencement Of Engineering Courses; To Begin From Dec 1
The academic session for the first-year students of technical courses will now begin from December 1. Earlier, it was expected to be commenced from November 1. The All India Institute For Technical Education (AICTE) on October 21 announced the decision. The last date for the admission process has also been extended to November 30. AICTE Announces Relaxations For Kashmiri Pandits In College Admissions
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has notified that Kashmiri pandits, Kashmiri migrants and Hindu families living in Kashmir valley would be granted relaxations in college admissions from the year 2020-21. Placements in B-Schools Recorded to be Highest Since 2012
Data by the All Indian Council of Technical Education reported, around 49% of management graduates were offered job in 2019-20, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the highest number of jobs offered to B-school graduates in a year since 2012. Experts believe this happened as they started recruitment process early this year. However, the report did not include IIMs as they are autonomous and do not fall under AICTE purview.
