Frost and Sullivan To Launch Air Taxis By Late 2022

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), New Zealand, and Singapore are expected to be the first adopters of air taxi. The company Frost and Sullivan may soon unveil the latest technology of mini quadcopter air taxis sooner this year. Globally many cities are considering to use this technology for cargo services, but by later 2022, we might see passengers traveling in these helicopter taxis.

Haryana CM Launches India's First-Ever Air Taxi Service At Rs 1,755

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has launched India's first-ever air taxi service under the Centre’s UDAN scheme. The newly inaugurated air taxi service would traverse between Chandigarh and Hisar at a fixed fare of Rs 1,755. CM Khattar informed that in the second phase, air services would commence from Hisar to Dehradun while adding two new routes in the third phase. Researchers at Tesla Progress Towards Electrified Urban Aviation

Tesla's battery research team, in a recently published research article, has mentioned about next-generation battery cells that are capable of increasing EV's range by 280 kilometres and also powering Urban Aviation. By urban aviation, they don't refer to Boeing and Airbus planes, but most likely an Air Taxi. The anode-free lithium-metal battery cell will be the magic beneath the hoods.
