Senior Executives of Air Asia Get Suspended Over Safety Violations

Two senior executives of AirAsia, Captain Manish Uppal, Head of Operations, and Captain Mukesh Neema, Head of Flight Safety, have been suspended for three months by aviation regulator DCGA for violating safety measures. The move came after one of the pilots, Gaurav Taneja, alleged on his YouTube channel that the airline tries to save fuel by asking pilots to land in “Flap 3”, putting people’s lives at risk.
