Airlines Now Mandated To Share Passengers' Details To Customs Dept
According to central government's latest mandate, airlines now have to share the passengers' details with the customs. The decision was taken on August 8, citing "risk analysis". Domestic Aviation Industry To Allow 72.5% Passengers: MoCA
The Ministry of Civil Aviation announced on August 12 that it has increased the passengers’ capacity from 65% to 72.5% to fly in domestic airlines. The order came after the MoCA Jyotiraditya Scindia held a meeting on August 6 and said ''will remain in place until further order.'' Besides, people have to invest more in tickets as a separate order by the government has increased the airfare bands to 12%.
