Flights To Small Cities Will Be Expensive Soon

In a drawback for travellers, flights to II-tier cities are soon going to be expensive. As per sources, Civil Aviation decided to hike fares, amid the recent announcement of a hike in small airport charges. Notably, the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation increased the landing and parking charges at smaller airports in India by 30%, whereas user development fees by four times. The hike in rates will be applicable soon.

Covid-19 Violators Should Be Fined And Put On No-Fly List: Delhi HC

Concerning the Covid-19 violators, the Delhi HC asked the aviation department to take strict action against those without face-mask and not following hand hygiene protocol at the airports. On June 3, the court said, Covid-19 is not yet over and people should take protocols seriously. Furthermore, the court also asked to fine such violators and put them on a no-fly list. The DCGA has been directed to ensure implementation.
