Ajay Bhalla Calls For Unified Strategy To Tackle COVID-19 Situation In Delhi
Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla emphasised on need of a "unified strategy" to tackle COVID-19 situation in Delhi. "Omicron variant being highly transmissible, hence no stone to be left unturned to deal with any surge in cases and immediate steps should be taken," said Bhalla, during a virtual meeting, on January 6. He also asked the Delhi Government to strengthen surveillance, especially when COVID-19 and Omicron cases are rising.
