Amid the concern of the Taliban, India's National Security Adviser Ajit Doval has started a meeting with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev regarding China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan in Delhi on September 8. A day earlier, Doval had also met with US spymaster William Burns to strengthen bilateral security but any details weren't made public. India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Pakistani NSA Moeed Yusuf are expected to attend an in-person SCO meeting in Tajikistan, on June 23. In the presence of NSAs of other countries, Tajikistan will serve as group chair. Although there is no confirmation of a formal meeting between the Indian and Pakistani NSAs, the development has come at a time when New Delhi and Islamabad are being cautious in relations.
