Russia, India Ink Deal To Jointly Manufacture AK-203 Rifles In UP

During the 20th meeting of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military & Military-Technical Cooperation, India and Russia signed the deal to jointly manufacture nearly 6 lakh AK-203 rifles in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi on December 6. India-Russia To Sign AK-203 Rifle Deal During Putin's India Visit

To boost Defence, India will sign a deal of AK-203 assault rifles, with Russia, on December 6. Russian President Vladimir Putin and PM Modi will sign the deal of 7.5 lakh AK-203 rifles to India, worth Rs 5,000 crore, during Putin's visit to India. All the clearance work, including final approval from the Union Cabinet has been done. The rifles will reach India in 32 months after its production.
