Two More Persons Arrested For Alleged Links To Al-Qaeda & Ansarullah Bangla: Assam
In Assam’s Barpeta, two persons have been arrested for their alleged links to Al-Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT). According to Superintendent of Police Amitava Sinha, around 37 persons have been arrested so far, for alleged links to AQIS and ABT. Furthermore, the administration is conducting an eviction drive in a Madrasa in Barpeta, stating that the Madrasa was constructed illegally on government land.
