Delhi Gas Leak Incident, 24 Students Rushed To Hospital After Illness
At least twenty-four students of a municipal school in Delhi's Naraina area were taken ill on August 10, allegedly due to a gas leak incident nearby, officials said. Nineteen students were rushed to the RML Hospital while the rest nine were sent to the Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital, a senior hospital of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. The concerned official assured action and said, they'll be probing the matter.

Bengal Man Took Bus With His 5 Month Old Baby Body
Asim Debasharma, a resident of West Bengal's Dinajpur district shared how he had to travel 200 kms with his son's dead body in a public transport. Asim said, as he failed to pay Rs 8,000 to the ambulance driver as per demand, he took his five-months-old son in a bag and reached his native from Siliguri. The incident shared by several media agencies went vital, with investigation against driver.

Ambulances Carrying Patient Catches Fire: AP
In Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district, 108 ambulance turned into ashes, after it caught fire. Getting into details, on March 13, an ambulance, carrying patient for dialysis, caught fire due to a suspected short circuit, confirmed sources. Although no casualty was reported, as driver alerted the patient and his family, and escaped the fire, the fire destroyed tobacco worth Rs 40 lakh of tobacco and police registered a case.

Mumbai Traffic Police Clarifies Emergency Ambulance Controversy During Amit Shah's Visit
The Mumbai Traffic Police took to Twitter and clarified the controversy of an ambulance being stopped for Amit Shah's convoy pass. "There was no emergency patient in the ambulance & due to defect, the ambulance van driver was unable to switch off the siren. The allegation is false". Notably, the incident created controversy, as netizens criticised Amit Shah, for stopping an emergency Ambulance. However, the matter has been clarified.

Ambulance Collides With Truck In UP, Leaves 7 Dead On Spot
In a tragic incident, seven people were killed as an Ambulance collided with a truck, in UP's Fatehganj Paschim, on May 31. The driver, suspected to have dozed off, lost control and rammed into a divider, which resulted in the Ambulance coming onto the other side of the road and hitting the truck. Kurshid (55) was taking his wife Sagiran (52) for treatment in the ambulance, when the tragedy occurred.

Fire Breaks Out At 7-Storey Building In Mumbai's Khar Area: Maharashtra
In Mumbai's Khar area, a massive fire erupted in a seven-storey building, which caused mass panic, on April 21. The incident occurred in Khar's Guru Ganeshwar Marg, when the fire started at around 10:30 am, in a flat on the fourth floor of Notan Villa building. Reportedly, at least eight fire engines, water tankers and ambulances reached the spot. Four trapped people were rescued from the terrace, reported PTI.

Stray Animals In Delhi To Get Special Ambulance Service: NDMC
To provide medical assistance to stray animals, the New Delhi Municipal Committee (NDMC) launched an ambulance service on August 19 in Delhi. North Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh said that the ambulance also includes a hydraulic system for comfortably uploading the animals and a melodious tunes system to keep calm the animal. The six zones of the civic body will receive one of such ambulances.

Hyderabad Traffic Police Sparks Criticism For Halting Ambulances
Hyderabad city police faced heavy criticisms after visuals of them stopping two ambulances and asking health workers to wait for some time to make way for a VIP convoy went viral on social media on July 25.
