On September 2, a 25-year-old Amity University student was robbed and attacked by carjackers in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The student identified as Akshay Kalra, had suffered grievous injuries in the attack and succumbed to it, on September 4. Akshay, before losing his consciousness told the police that he was brutally assaulted with a pistol’s butt, and was hit on the head, chest, and rib cage.
