Home Ministry Claims Amnesty International Received Illegal Foreign Funding

Human Rights Organization, Amnesty International (AI) has discontinued its Indian operation alleging the government of targeting the organization over 'unfavourable reports'. Mexico Records Highest COVID-19 Fatalities Among Health Workers: Amnesty

A report from Amnesty International claims that Mexico's health workers are the worst hit in the pandemic. Out of 7,000 medical workers' death globally, Mexico's tally is 1,320. Besides, Reuters analyzed that fatality risk of Mexican healthcare staff in August was four times higher than the US and eight times more than Brazil. Earlier this week, Mexico government informed that at least 102,494 health workers had contracted coronavirus.

CAA Protests: Amnesty International Alleges Violation of Human Rights By Delhi Police

Global NGO, Amnesty International has accused Delhi Police of torture and violation of human rights during the communal riots that took place in the capital city over Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The NGO’s report is based on forensic analysis of riot videos and eyewitness accounts, claiming the police burned down homes and beat up protesters based on their community.
