Serbia’s first female and openly gay Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic has been re-appointed for a second term. President Aleksandar Vucic, appointed Brnabic, after the Serbin Progressive Party secured a sweeping majority win in the elections conducted in June, 2020. Praising the Prime Minister, Vucic said, “Brnabic has fiercely fought for her country,” and hinted that half of her cabinet might include women.
