Bihar: Health Survey Reveals 42.8% Of Children Suffer Malnutrition
In a shocking revelation, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey on February 24 informed the Legislative Council that 42.8% of children suffer from severe malnourishment. Air Pollution Increases Anaemia Among Children Under 5-Years: Study
A joint study by IIT Delhi and Harvard University has discovered high air pollution is threatening children under the age of 5 years with anaemia. The report highlighted that for every 10 micrograms/m³ of increase in PM2.5 exposure leads to 1.9% increased chances of getting anaemic.
