Andaman & Nicobar Islands Record 1 Covid-19 Case; Total At 7,665
Andaman and Nicobar Islands on November 9, recorded one new Covid-19 case, bringing the total to 7,665. The union territory presently contains ten active COVID-19 cases, with all of the patients located in South Andaman district, which includes Port Blair. Andaman & Nicobar Island's Diglipur Hit By 4.0 Magnitude Earthquake
Diglipur area of Andaman and Nicobar Islands experienced an earthquake on October 27, in the morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, the 4.0 magnitude earthquake took place at a depth of 80 kilometer south and 90 kilometer south east. The NCS tweeted, "Earthquake of Magnitude 4.0, Occurred on 27-10-2021, 04:56:37 IST, Lat: 12.54 and Long: 93.36, Depth: 80 Km, Location: 90 Km SSE of Diglipur."

South Adaman's Radhanagar Beach Wins Blue Flag Certification
Andaman and Nicobar Islands' Radhangar beach situated in South Andaman has been recognized as a Blue Flag beach in India for the 2021-22 tourist season, retaining its certification for the same. Deputy Commissioner Suneel Anchipaka thanked the locals, tourists, and hoteliers and also requested them to keep the beach clean. Reportedly, India has recognized 10 Blue Flag beaches based on 33 global parameters.
