Haryana Home Minister On Nuh Violence, Calls It Pre-Planned Conspiracy

Haryana Minister, BJP Leader Anil Vij Tests Positive For Covid-19

Amid the rising number of Covid-19 cases, another politician, Haryana's Home and Health Minister Anil Vij also tested positive for Covid-19. "I have isolated myself. I request all those who have come into contact with me for the last few days to get themselves tested," tweeted the 69-year-old BJP leader, on June 22. This is the second time Anil Vij contracted Covid-19, the first was in 2020.

Haryana Doctors Postpone Strike After Assurance Of Health Minister

Doctors of Haryana postponed their strike which was supposed to be starting from December 13, under the banner of the Haryana Civil Medical Services (HCMS). "I've listened to the issues and we'll try to resolve all of them at the earliest," said Anil Vij, Haryana Health Minister. HCMS President Dr. Jasbir Singh said, there'll be no need for a strike if the government fulfills our demand by December 31.

Haryana Minister, Who Volunteered For 'Covaxin' Trials, Tests COVID+

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has tested COVID-19 positive on December 5. Interestingly, he had volunteered and took a COVID-19 vaccine shot of Bharat Biotech's 'Covaxin' on November 20. The 67-year-old minister tweeted about being admitted at Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt. and requested everyone, who came in close contact with him, to get tested. He was the first volunteer for the third-phase trails of the vaccine in Haryana.

Haryana Chief Minister Khattar Plans To Enact Law Against Love Jihad

Haryana government is eyeing to formulate law against "love jihad". Citing the recent murder of a student in Faridabad's Ballabhgarh, CM Khattar called for a law that would ensure that such incidents never get repeated. The announcement came a day after UP CM Yogi Adityanath called to enact a law against "love jihad". Endorsing Yogi's view, Home Minister of Haryana Anil Vij tweeted in support of legislation against the "serious issue".
