Indian chess prodigy in rapid format, Koneru Humpy won the second edition of the BBC Indian Sportswoman of the Year award on March 8. Ace Indian long jumper Anju Bobby George has revealed that she reached heights in her career with a single kidney. Reportedly, Anju struggled with slow recovery and frequent joint pains due to congenital solitary kidney condition. Besides, she was allergic to medicines.
