An appeal has been filed in the Supreme Court of India, challenging the order of Karnataka High Court on abolishment of “Anti-Corruption Bureau”. Anti-Corruption Bureau Traps Asst Engineer Of APEPDCL: Andhra Pradesh
An Assistant Engineer of the Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution fell for the trap set up by Anti-Corruption Bureau and got caught taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from an aqua farmer. The farmer, G. Gangaraju lodged a complaint that the engineer demanded a bribe to issue an electric metre for the fish tank. The farm is located at Denduluru village in the West Godavari district.
