Imran Khan Files Pre-Arrest Bail Plea In Islamabad Court

Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan moved the Islamabad High Court seeking pre-arrest bail, on August 22. The President of PTI, was booked under Anti-Terrorism Act, for threatening a magistrate judge and two senior officials of the Islamabad police, during his rally in Islamabad. The petition filed by Khan's lawyers Babar Awan and Faisal Chaudhry mentioned that Khan was being a “target of the ruling PDM".

Former Pakistan CM Imran Khan Booked Under Anti Terrorism Act

Former Pakistan CM Imran Khan has been booked for the threatening judge and senior police officials. On August 20, Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaff (PTI) addressed a meeting at F-9 Park, and allegedly threatened a female magistrate and the Islamabad Police, following which a case under Anti-Terrorism Act was registered.
