Sunny Deol starrer "Gadar 2" is not only making the audience crazy, but also got appreciation from Bollywood celebrities too. In the latest, Anupam Kher who watched the movie said, "Just watched #Gadar2 in Gaiety/Galaxy theatre in Bandra. Last time I went to this single-screen theatre was for the premiere of my movie #Hum," He called the movie 'Tsunami of emotions,' and called Sunny Deol, a cult star.

Delhi Police Asked To Tighten Security Following Release Of 'The Kashmir Files'

The DCPs of Delhi have been asked to take precautionary measures in the areas with mixed population to avoid riots following the screening of 'The Kashmir Files'. A letter from DCP (special branch) mentioned, the brutality of the movie setting, which depicts the killing of Kashmiri Pandits by Muslims. Reportedly, the movie is believed to have hurt the communal sentiments of some parts of the country.

The allegations for not to be invited to The Kapil Sharma Show for promoting The Kashmir Files started off as the director tweeted that "it's his and the producer's choice" which further caused a rift in Twitter community with fans using 'Boycott Kapil Sharma'. Later Anupam Kher, the film's lead clarified it when a TV anchor asked the question saying to never believe in "one-sided stories".

'The Kashmir Files' To Release On March 11 After Bombay HC Dismiss Stay Plea

The Bombay HC dismissed a  plea seeking stay on the release of the 'The Kashmir Files' on March 9. HC Chief Justice Dipankar Datta reviewed the PIL, which said, Vivek Agnihotri's film is hurting religious sentiments of the Islamic community. However, Datta said that the petitioner has not challenged CBFC and dismissed his plea. The movie stars Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty, is set to release on March 11.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher on May 7, through twitter, rubbished all the false rumors making rounds on social media about his actress-turned-politician wife Kirron Kher‘s demise. NY City International Film Festival Awards Anupam Kher With Best Actor

Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher has been given the Best Actor Award for his short film "Happy Birthday" at the New York City International Film Festival on May 7.
