PUBG: Govt Clears It Did Not Ban Mobile Nordic Map: Livik App
Giving a silver line for the PUBG lovers, the IT Ministry on January 9 confirmed access to PUBG is not illegal in India. Responding to an RTI petition, the Ministry revealed that the Mobile Nordic Map: Livik APK was not restricted in India, and the Ministry has blocked only a specific app. However, the Ministry cleared that no dialogue between government and game developer PUBG/Krafton has taken place.

US Court Stays the Ban on WeChat Temporarily
US' federal judge Laurel Beeler on September 20 stayed the ban on the Chinese App, WeChat, temporarily. The petitioners plead that they are affected by US President Donald Trump's plan of banning the app, and claimed that it threatened their constitutional rights. Justice Laurel said, "There are alternatives to a complete ban, such as barring WeChat from government devices or taking other steps to address data security."
