Paytm Targets 1M Apps in Mini Store, Allots Fund for Developers
Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma has said that they target to have about one million apps in the Paytm Mini Store by the first quarter of 2021. He added that an investment fund of Rs 10 crore has been set up for mini-app developers. Reportedly, unlike Google, the platform provides free listing for app developers, who can also avail free payment avenues. Earlier, Paytm had called Google "unfair" for levying a 30% commission.

Apple Cut Off WordPress App Updates Until In-App Purchases Added: WordPress CEO
WordPress for IOS was finally updated after a month, and CEO Matt Mullenweg stated that Apple had blocked them from rolling out new updates, as the app didn't have in-app purchases. The in-app purchases option leads to Apple gaining a 30 percent share of revenue WordPress makes from the purchases. "We were locked by App Store. To be able to ship updates we had to commit to support in-app purchases," Mullenweg Tweeted.

Apple Intimidates Removal of Epic Games' Account from its App Store
Apple has intimidated to remove developer account of Epic Games from its App store by August 28. Apple, in a letter to the Epic Games, sought violation of Apple Developer Program License Agreement as the reason to do so. Reportedly, this will affect all iOS games and apps that use Epic's Unreal Engine. However, Fortnite developer Epic Games has moved to the court against the Apple's decision.
