WhatsApp To Upgrade Real-time Waveform Features Soon

WhatsApp is testing real-time waveform for voice message and some new features for business accounts. However, a user will also be able to listen to a voice message before sending it. This feature was previously removed owing to users’ complaints. Also, Business accounts will now not have an online status or their "last seen" displayed. As of now, the date has not been revealed for the new updates.read-more

WhatsApp To Allow Users Clear Files In Bulk With New Storage Tool

Mobile messenger app WhatsApp is set to roll a new feature that will help users to clear files in bulk. The new storage management tool allows users to delete data in categories like 'file size' and 'forwarded many times'. The update will also enable users to preview the files before deleting them. After updating the app, users can access the new tool by going to Settings>Storage> Data>Manage storage.

WhatsApp's New "Expiring Message" Feature Enables Chats to Self-Delete

WhatsApp is planning to roll out a new feature, "Expiring message",  for its android users. According to WABetaInfo, the new feature will have the functionality of self-deleting messages. However, media files can be stored in the phone by downloading or taking screenshots. Reportedly, It will provide three options - one day, one week and one month - to set the time for messages getting disappear automatically.
