Tamil Nadu Govt Working On App To List Blood Donors At Various Locations: Ma Subramanian
Tamil Nadu health minister Ma Subramanian said that the Health Department is working on an application that will list the names of regular blood donors at different locations of the state. He said that in 2021, 3.4 lakh units of blood was donated, where every unit helps four persons. However, he said that the current amount of donors is not sufficient. Also, more blood banks will reportedly be installed soon.

Android Users Can No Longer Buy Kindle Books Via App
Android users will no longer be able to buy Kindle books via the Amazon app. When an Android user tries to purchase a Kindle book on Amazon now, a message pops up that says, "...you will no longer be able to buy new content from the app." The move does not affect iOS users, as they were not allowed to buy books via the iOS Amazon app anyway.

WhatsApp Likely To Roll Out 'Quick Reactions Feature' For Stories
WhatsApp users may soon be able to react to others' Stories with a new 'Quick Reactions' feature. This would let the users express their emotions to WhatsApp Stories using hand-clapping emojis, folded hands emojis, etc. As of now, it is not known if a user would be able to customize their emoji settings, or if the list of emojis available would be pre-determined.

IIT-Delhi Graduates Make 'Stamurai App'; Cures Stutter, Stammer
IIT-Delhi graduate Meet Singhal along with his two friends has started building Stamurai app in 2019 to help those who are suffering from stammering and stuttering. The app has 60,000 downloads and offers 30 tools out of which five are free to use. “This app is like a home practice school for you and is relevant for all age groups,” said Singhal. Besides, Singhal is also a patient of stuttering.

West Bengal govt has launched a COVID Vaccine Related app which allows people to book an appointment for the vaccination However, this app is essentially released to reduce long queues. Users can send a message 'Hi' to 8335999000 for appointment and will get an instant reply asking name, age, gender, locality and municipality details.
