Ex-Apple Employee Confesses To Stealing Confidential Information About Apple Car

An ex-Apple worker admitted to stealing records pertaining to the company's much-awaited self-driving vehicle. The worker, Xiaolang Zhang, worked on the project from 2015 to 2018 before joining Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology, in China. Apple reportedly learned Zhang used Airdrop to send 24GB of "highly problematic" files to his wife's laptop. His sentencing date is set for November. Apple To Accelerate On It's Fully Autonomous Car Project: Report

Apple has been reported to accelerate the development of its electric car and is refocusing the project on full self-driving capabilities. According to reports, Apple's automobile team is considering two options: a model with limited self-driving skills similar to present cars, and a model with full self-driving capability that does not require human intervention. The company is aiming to debut its car within four years, showed reports.
