Lionel Messi Wins Prestigious FIFA Men's Best Player 2022 Award

Argentian football player Lionel Messi won the best FIFA Men's Player 2022 Award. The footballer received at the FIFA Football Awards 2022. This is the second time that Messi has won the most prestigious and biggest award in the Football world, the first was in 2019. Besides Messi, Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni won the Best Men's Coach Award and Emiliano Martinez won the Best Men's Goalkeeper Award.

The police in Argentina have reportedly arrested a man for allegedly attempting to assassinate Vice President Cristina Kirchner. Reportedly, the incident occurred in the capital city of Buenos Aires, and the attacker was a 35-year-old Brazilian national, identified as Fernando Montiel. He pointed a gun, inches away from her head, and attempted to shoot her. However, the gun did not fire. With this, Kirchner’s security has been increased.
