Twenty-year-old Indian student was killed in Ukraine, on March 1. MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted, "With profound sorrow we confirm that an Indian student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv this morning. The Ministry is in touch with his family. We convey our deepest condolences to the family". Student identified as Naveen Shekharappa, hailed from Karnataka and was a fourth year student at Kharkiv National Medical University. 

The Indian Government expressed displeasure over recent post of Hyundai Pakistan, over Jammu & Kashmir territory tweet. India is ready for discussions with Pakistan on expanding the number of religious sites and modes of travel that can be visited by pilgrims on both sides. Under the 1974 protocol, the expansion of the pilgrimage sites will be discussed and India has a positive approach towards this issue, said MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi. Reportedly, Pakistan Hindu Council has proposed to fly 160 Pakistani Hindu pilgrims from Karachi to Jaipur.
