Arjun Tank

Developed by DRDO, the indigenous Arjun Main Battle Tank (MK-1A) has been handed over to the Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane by the PM Narendra Modi, on February 14. According to the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the tank is an armored fighting vehicle with superior firepower, high mobility, and excellent protection. The project was a combined effort of 15 academic institutions, 8 labs and various MSME's.
