Explosion At Armenian Market Leaves 1 Dead & 20 Others Injured

An explosion at Armenian market has killed a person and left 20 others injured. The incident occurred at the retail market in Surmalu, and from the photos and videos that surfaced on the internet, thick black smoke can be seen. Reportedly, 10 fire tenders rushed to the spot to assist with the situation, while 10 more fire tenders were on their way. Further details on the matter are awaited.

Tri-nation Peace Pact Signed Over Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict

To end the military conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh region that has been ongoing for over a month, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia have signed a peace pact. Under the pact, the Azeri and Armenian forces will withdraw from the respective regions they have captured and Russia will deploy peace-keepers to "patrol the frontline". The Nagorno-Karabakh dispute, that was rooted back in 1994, has claimed over 5000 lives since September this year.

Armenia, Azerbaijan Endorse Peace In Nagorno-Karabakh Region

Armenia and Azerbaijan on October 30 agreed to defuse Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Both the countries agreed to exchange dead bodies of soldiers and share list of detained war prisoners. The peace-formula was devised by members of OSCE Minsk Group - France, Russia and US - with foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan at a meeting in Geneva. Both the countries have been fighting over the contentious region for over 25 years.
