Huge Cache Of Arms & Ammunition Seized From Naxals In Bihar

A huge amount of arms and ammunition has been seized by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), on July 13. Reportedly, the arms and ammunition belonged to the Naxals, and the seizure was carried out in Bihar's Gaya. The seized items include one AK rifle, 250 ammo, 65 pressure Improvised Explosive Device (IED), 446 Series IED, 101 Can IED and 495 Detonators.

52 DNLA Militants Lay Down Arms In Assam

About 52 members of the Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA), including four women, laid down their arms in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on February 16, as per the police. Police Arrest 'Notorious' Arms Supplier In Delhi's Rohini

Police in Delhi arrested a 'notorious' arms supplier, after a brief exchange of fire, and recovered a huge cache of arms in Rohini, on January 17. The accused was identified as Shakil alias Sherni, who according to the officer, was found carrying 13 sophisticated pistols and 38 live grenades. The accused is 'supplying arms to Nandhu and Sisodia Gang', and is previously involved in '17 other cases', stayed reports.

J&K: Security Forces Kill 3 Terrorists In First Encounter Of 2021

In the first terrorist encounter of 2021, the security forces killed three unidentified terrorists in Tral area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. Following a tip-off, the joint team of Army, CRPF and J&K Police cordoned off the area. The forces retaliated to the gunshots of the terrorists where they killed three militants in a long battle. Moreover, they have recovered arms and ammunition from the hideout.

China Smuggles Huge Cache of Arms Along Bangladesh-Myanmar Border

Reportedly, China has been smuggling a huge cache of arms and ammunition along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border. This includes 500 assault rifles, 30 universal machine guns, 70,000 rounds of ammunition, and grenades. These arms were sent to the 'Arakan Army' (AA) group in Myanmar. Moreover, China has also been backing up the active insurgent group like the United Wa State Army (UWSA), and seven others.

UP: Two Persons Arrested After Police Raids Illegal Weapon Making Unit

An illegal arms manufacturing unit was raided by Uttar Pradesh police on September 14 in Meerut. "Two persons have been arrested who were involved in manufacturing of weapons," said SSP Meerut Ajay Sahni. He told that one accused, identified as Sameer, is wanted by special cell of Delhi Police. He further informed that more than 70 weapons have been recovered from the accused.read-more

AK-47 and M-16 Rifles Found Along Indo-Pak Border

During early morning of September 12, the Border Security Force (BSF) found arms and ammunition including three AK-47 and two M-16 rifles along the Indo-Pak border in Punjab's Ferozepur district. Officials have suspected that these weapons were sent to India from Pakistan along the international border in Abohar. Officials also mentioned that two pistols with four magazines and 20 rounds were also recovered.

Huge Arsenal of Arms & Ammunition Retrieved from Assam's Udalguri District
