After the Unacademy teacher Karan Sangwani was fired, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took a dig at the Ed-tech platform and questioned his firing. In a tweet, Kejriwal said, "Is it a crime to appeal to educated people to vote? If someone is illiterate, personally I respect him. But people's representatives cannot be illiterate." However, Unacademy co-founder Roman Somani said they fired the teacher because his violated his contract terms.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, regarding the flood and Yamuna River water rise situation in the national capital. On July 12, Kejriwal asked for the Central Government's intervention in the release of water from the Hathinikund barrage in Haryana. Kejriwal said the water level in Yamuna isn't increasing due to rain but because of the water released from the Hathinikund barrage.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the Delhi Drainage system is not designed to tackle such heavy rainfall and waterlogging situation. Notably, the national capital witnessed heavy to very heavy rainfall, breaking the rain record of 41-years.
