JeM Commander Ashiq Ahmed Nengroo Now Designated As Terrorist By Indian Govt
The Indian government on April 18, designated Ashiq Ahmed Nengroo, the commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), as a terrorist. According to the Union Home Ministry, Nengroo is responsible for infiltrating terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir, and orchestrating various terror activities in Kashmir. Nengroo has now been designated as a terrorist under the provisions of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
